About Dony

Hi, I'm Dony Alior, a Senior Product Engineer with over a decade of experience building scalable web applications and AI/ML systems. Currently shaping the future of e-commerce at Rakuten Group, where I lead the development of AI-powered product classification systems handling over 200M+ items.

My journey in tech has been driven by a passion for solving complex problems and creating impactful user experiences. From developing enterprise-scale applications to founding startups, I've worn many hats and learned invaluable lessons along the way.

Professional Journey

At Rakuten, I'm currently leading a 5-person cross-departmental team, where we're revolutionizing product classification through AI and machine learning. Prior to this, I served as Director of Software Engineering at Infinity LLC, where I developed over 20 full-stack applications and helped numerous clients achieve their digital transformation goals.

My experience at NTT DATA gave me deep insights into enterprise data science and digital transformation, where I worked with Fortune 500 companies to implement advanced analytics and cloud solutions. During my time at Gipocrat LLC, I specialized in full-stack development, creating custom solutions for over 30 enterprise clients.
